An eclectic, entertaining, wallet friendly experience in a pub that looks like it's been there centuries .Many events, dog friendly, home fan friendly, arts and crafts for sale at venue as well.A home from home for me for at least a decade
I always visit this Ale house when in Ipswich. The bar staff are friendly and talkative, and there are some good ales to have a go at, including a £2.50 football match day ale. When inside the Tavern it feels as if you are being transported back in time, with its old wooden floorboards and dimly lit flickering candle lights. A must visit tavern whilst in Ipswich.
