Been a local of mine for nearly 20 years. Got kicked out earlier by a nasty piece of work from behind the bar. Said we smelt of weed! Haven’t smoked that stuff in nearly a decade. Called the bouncer over, no questions, kicked us out. We’re not trying to make a fuss so i figured I’d leave a review so the (Botox) lady can see she ruined a nice for no reason and probably because of issues at home. What a wonderful 17th century pub such a wonderful place and me and my wife attended an open mic night which is on every second Wednesday of the month a brilliant night of entertainment

The Swan in its former incarnation was a cherished fixture of Ipswich's pub and live music scene. When it temporarily closed its doors, many of us were worried we'd lost a favourite.
