Interesting little pub with a good selection of ales and lagers. The pub building is absolutely beautiful with ornately carved timber to parts of the interior which would really make it feel cosy and inviting. Unfortunately someone has decided to build the most horrendous black brickwork bar which totally detracts from the rest of the building
Absolutely LOVE this pub!Really love the historical look and feel of the place, really friendly staff who're always kind and friendly even when it get's busy, really good selection of drinks at very reasonable prices and I have a great night with my group of friends every time we go there!

Nice place with good beer for a pre - match drink but its only for Ipswich fans. Away fans need to use the Station hotel opposite the station .Service is difficult pre-match due to the number of supporters.
