We visited Lavenham on March 12th and when we arrived it was raining, so we popped in Lavenham Blue Vintage tea rooms for a spot of lunch. The atmosphere was charming and cozy, we were welcomed and seated right away. My son got scones and rea, I got the ploughman's with the pork pie and my sister in law got a doorstop sandwich. This is the most wonderful tea room in Lavenham owned and run by wonderful people. We visited today and were having a lovely time until our greedy dog stole a pain au raisin out of our shopping bag! The owner, Amanda was so calm and immediately phoned her vet in Long Melfird who saw us within 10 minutes. Our dog was treated very kindly by the vet and all is well. But what a lovely place to visit - the Christmas scones were delicious and I can’t wait to visit again.

What an absolutely love spot for a traditional tea. The venue can be polished and formal or light and casual depending on the booking. The air about the grounds is so light and lovely, and I was instantly transported back in time to the 40's with the ambiance, vintage tea sets, and lovely traditional foods. The owner and staff are lovely as well! Couldn't recommend enough and will be back!
