Update- Nov 2022. Back to the food old J's. Great chips, great service.Good size portions. Been coming here for many years.Further update to below. Service back to a good standard again. Great work.Updated review. Food still great. Service lately has gone down a little. Young lads and girls more interested in flirting between themselves than serving. Hopefully will return to the great service they used to have.
For the most part it's lovely just wish when ordering fish it was left to drain instead of what seems to be just put in with the chips as the grease that drip saturates the chips. Hit and miss on portion sizes aswell. But on the whole it's a lovely busy chip shop

A good local option for fish and chips. The stand outs here were the battered sausages (best I've tasted) and the young female server who was really polite and pleasant to deal with.
