First visit and what a lovely welcoming pub. Staff were so efficient and friendly. Well organised for the carvery, good quality food, especially the roast beef, pink and tender. Desserts excellent, hot puddings a bit short on custard, but extra provided when we asked. The price is amazing for two courses and two coffees £25 a head. We will return.
Was very grateful they could fit us in.(especially as it was my Birthday & was visiting the area from Durham) service took a lot longer than I expected but the food was great!! Thank you.

Carvery is excellent...good choice of meat and a superb selection of fresh vegetables.1 negative comment.....The chesse and biscuits platter isnt worth the money. 3 small sluces of chesse with 6 bicuits and pickle....Not worth the money.
