Just had a lovely dinner at The Fleece, so much on the menu to choose from, we were spoilt for choice!Tempura broccoli, nachos and halloumi fries were the selections we made and they didn’t disappoint.. followed by a beautiful fully loaded and very generous roast dinner! We were full to bursting and it was totally worth it. Finished dinner off with a drink in the cosy bar next to the fire! We have lived in the area for nearly 4 years, and on our first visit to Boxford we noticed that the place had unfortunately closed. Then along came covid!. Finally we got to visit, early evening on Saturday and amazed to find a full bar, and friendly relaxed atmosphere. An old fashioned pub at its very best. We only had a drink, however food was available. Super dog friendly too, and will be returning regularly.

Historic old inn dating back to the 15th century. Good selection of beers, friendly staff and locals. Plenty of seating inside and outside. Food menu looked good but we not available on the day we visited.
