Bar in

“Popped in for a cheeky couple of pints whilst staying locally and was blown away by the quality and freshness of the cask beers and cider, which were also very reasonably priced. The pub was full of locals, so we squeezed into a corner with our dog and were made to feel very welcome by everyone. This is a proper old-school drinking snug and I wish we could have returned, but as the pub is only open from Fri - Mon, we couldn't.In a world full of Sky Sports TVs and dreadful keg beers, the Sweffling White Horse is a sanctuary.Parking: Plenty of parking at the side of the pub.”

“Best Pub in SuffolkMy favourite establishment of all time. Food is amazing and cheap and almost no wait time. The owners (Matt and Amy) are almost always there and are super friendly. They allow local kids to work there on holidays and treat them like an actual employee. Bar area is lovely and cosy. Every Sunday in the summer, they host a “Frog Box.” It’s essentially a raffle but all the profits go into the next one. I come here almost every night when I’m here to enjoy the drinks and have a nice chat.Vegetarian options: Lots of vegetarian and vegan options on the menuDietary restrictions: Gluten free options for everything!Parking: Easy parking right around the corner. Never is fullKid-friendliness: Kids menu, and lots of fun activities to do in the grassy area behind the white horse (if you sit outside you can see your kids)Wheelchair accessibility: No stairs, so is wheelchair friendly.”

“Just called in to pickup a take away. It has a Chinese kitchen. Noisy music in the bar making it difficult to communicate. The best looked good but not hanging around in that tracker. Food was good. Xxxx”

“Just loved this park. Well set out with beautiful lodges. Quiet and nature friendly. Right next to Minsmere nature reserve. Surrounded by lovely scenery and in short driving distance of many parts of Suffolk. Lovely onsite bar selling great food. And a shop for all your essentials. A walk along the beach or a short drive to Dunwich beach and cafe. Beautiful!”

“We were taken here by local friends for dinner. Food was lovely. Stars of the meal were squid starter and lamb main. Cooked to an amazing standard. Service was great too. Would definitely recommend.”

“Many pluses including excellent breakfast and lovely staff. The bar area is not very comfortable and as we got stranded due to storm no where relaxing to settle E. G with sofas. Bedroom clean and comfortable but duvet very lumpy. Bar and staircase needed a thorough clean. Dinners were variably. Mackerel delicious but fish and chips not so good (batter burnt). Curry lovely taste but too many carbsWalkability: Small village and no shops but very close to beach and nature reserve with some lovely walks. Pub very dog friendly”
