“Arriving on holiday we were very lucky to notice the Pitstop cafe sign on York road . We had driven round and round looking for a parking space so we could get some lunch after a long journey.The welcome was very friendly and helpful. As mum does not have a huge appetite. We decided on a toastie to share and a bowl of chips . The lady was very helpful and gave us an extra plate no problem. The toastie was good but the salad was delicious. Freshly prepared and a huge variety from radish to grapes . Thank you very much for our delicious lunchKid-friendliness: There was everything a child would love to play on or with in a safe space”

“Lovely place, relaxing cafe with good food, friendly staff and putting green. Age 6-66 with us had fun, and we felt very welcome with children ‘Golf fairy’ was a wonderful surprise for the smallest.”

“A genuinely friendly and happy bunch of people serving, great coffee and Mövenpick ice cream. Put that together with nice weather and the waves gently breaking on the beach, I can think of worst ways to spend an hour or so.”

“Not the cheapest and drinks and food served in paper cups but food and drink were great. A wee bit on the dear side to me. 3 hot drinks and 2 slices of cake were over £17!”
