We had a lovely lunch here after a walk at Alton Water. We had a fresh baggette and skinny fries. Friendly service, a nice garden to sit in and good food. We'll come here again.

Don't do food. But do do lovely ales,well kept and a choice of lesser known Cider. We popped in on our countryside hike b4 setting off on the journey back to Ipswich . Were made to feel welcome and had a good chat amongst ourselves, the staff and regulars.

Came for a pub lunch with the family. Sat outside to enjoy the bank holiday sunshine. The team were helpful in finding us a parasol for our table.
Attentive service, a bit of a wait for the food but it was busy and the food was worth the wait

Good location; but should have booked table by window. Also service was slow and unresponsive to requests. Sunday platter for 2 was good but had to ask to replace burnt Yorkshire puddings!
