The Street, EastonHad a fantastic Sunday lunch at the White Horse in Easton. Proper countryside pub at its best.
The roast was excellent – crispy Yorkshire pudding, perfectly cooked meat, roast potatoes, rich gravy with seasonal vegetables. Fantastic nut roast for the veggies like me! Everything tasted fresh and well balanced.
The setting makes it even better. The pub itself is a beautiful historic building dating back centuries, with cosy fireplaces, rustic tables and a relaxed village atmosphere.
Service was warm and friendly. Also, dog friendly!
If you’re anywhere near Framlingham or Woodbridge definitely worth a visit!

From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was warm, cozy, and beautifully inviting. The afternoon tea selection was absolutely stunning — lovely sandwiches, freshly baked scones served with rich clotted cream and jam, and the prettiest cakes that tasted just as good as they looked.
The tea itself was exceptional, with a lovely range of blends to choose from, all served perfectly in teapots. Every detail felt thoughtful and carefully prepared.
What really made the experience special was the friendly and attentive staff who made us feel completely welcome and unhurried. It was the perfect spot to relax, chat, and enjoy a little indulgence.
If you’re looking for a place to treat yourself (or celebrate something special), I can’t recommend their afternoon tea enough. Absolutely wonderful — I’ll definitely be back! ☕?
