Came here for a quick drink before staff party, the gentleman at the bar, Conner super professional, friendly and so knowledgeable. As a veteran within the hospitality industry I know good service when I see it, this man is amazing and a credit to Camberleys best local pub. We were staying at Frimley Hall and popped in to The Bear on a recommendation. A very warm welcome and lovely ale and Prosecco. Great menu and wine list and went for the chicken burger and pulled pork sandwich with chips and both were lovely. If in the area well worth a visit.
The UK sucks for service in bars, restaurants and even basic shops these days in general however, The bear has a good team of staff and in particular a gentleman working there who has been there for a good few years and he has single handedly restored my faith in the UK service sector.
