There are many cafe's in caterham but cafe nero is my favourite. Let me explain why. Firstly we have a very well behaved dog and the only place that allows dogs is cafe nero. My dog is my family and ofen better behaved than people. I am more than happy if any dog is badly behaved they are asked to leave and infact the 18months I have been going to Nero they have once asked someone to leave, which was the correct request as the dog was barking all the time. Great coffee, lovely, friendly staff, always welcomed with a smile and a 'good morning'. Coffee made with real beans, unlike other caffes in the area and they are very welcoming for dogs, which, as a 'dog friendly nation', have always found difficult to find, elsewhere. No idea what the other reviewers have an issue with, but we go here most days and have heard nothing but favourable comments! Went here a few days ago, the black guy that served us was brilliant, really nice and really went out of his way to provide a good service, unfortunately, the place is grotty like every neros I go into, with the exception of Oxted.
