Visited for fir a festive work lunch before Christmas. Very busy. Food was average and overpriced for what we had. Service was good and nice atmosphere but shame about the food.

Visited for a second time today and the food, service and atmosphere were fantastic. We like it at The Red Lion as you receive personal service and delicious food. Nothing is too much trouble. Thanks for putting up with us! ?Vegetarian options: I had the Jambalaya and it was so tasty, I hope they keep it on the menu for when I come back!

I have just got home from a very enjoyable meal with seven others from our car club. We all had a great time at The Red Lion, the food was very good and the owners and staff excellent. A real treat to find a traditional local Pub in this location. We will definitely be back!

Restaurant is clean and looks more like a restaurant than a pub. Menu choices were good. Traditional dishes as well as others. Good reasonable prices and all freshly home cooked. They were happy to swap a salad for chips ? There are also deals for over 65s such as a 2 course menu for £12 Lovely log fire too Roast dinners around £15 on Sundays. Best to book
