The best restaurant I have ever been to. The team of wonderful people both in the kitchen and the restaurant make for an unforgettable dining experience. Every single dish is exceptional - creative, delicious, rich in texture and flavour, and uses local ingredients. What a treat! Thank you to Alex & the entire Team for a truly excellent meal.

This restaurant is truly exceptional. The attention to detail, the creativity and balance of flavours, textures, and ingredients, as well as the outstanding service are second to none. Indeed, it was one of the best meals we have ever had (only one other dining experience was even on par: in December and also at The Tudor Pass!). Huge thank you to Alex and the entire team, your incredible talent and passion for your metier is obvious in everything you do, in course after course of true works of art you create and present to your guests with charm and pride.

Alex and the team looked after us very well. The lunch was exquisite. Clever, cooked beautifully and visually stunning. Chris the Manager was kind and engaging. We will return again for sure. Thanks so much

The seven courses taster menu was wonderfull for its taste and creativity. The service was impeccable, friendly, efficient and discreet, with every need anticipated. The chefs came out and explained all the dishes, and their provenance. The Tudor room is beautiful, if a little cold. I would happily go again!

Very enjoyable evening with very nice food in lovely dining room. You can see some of the Blumenthal heritage in the young master chefs menu and presentation. Will definitely go back.

I took my wife for lunch at The Tudor Pass on 24th December. Put simply, our experience was truly exquisite! Everything from the historic nature of the venue, the elegance and classy interactions of the staff, and the variety & deliciousness of the menu combined to deliver a memorable experience. It certainly would not be out last visit to that restaurant.

The 7 course tasting menu lunch in The Tudor Pass was a very special and memorable experience. The food was exquisite, delivered with perfect timing and beautifully described by its chef creator at the table in delightful, historic surroundings. We were thrilled with our meal and visit. There is also an exciting twist for you to discover as your dining experience progresses... Thank you to the small, dedicated team who made us feel so welcome.

We visited for a special celebration and, honestly, are continually looking for an excuse to visit again. Outstanding from start to finish. A stunning building with incredible history (thanks to our host for supplying information on this when we asked), the dining area is beautifully decorated. We were greeted on arrival and seated. We opted for the tasting menu and accompanying wine flight. As we were seated, a welcome glass of fizz was served and amuse bouche appeared shortly afterwards. Each course is introduced by a chef and is as delicious and creative as the last. I’ll say no more so as not to spoil the surprise. It’s worth every penny. Chef Alex Payne (and the team) has done something very special here and earned a well deserved Michelin star shortly after our visit. Truly outstanding.

We have eaten here on several occasions and it never fails to please in so many ways. We were here for Christmas Lunch just three of us. We received a warm welcome from Chris the manager and the somellier. The five course lunch becomes 7 or 8 with the extra dishes added in. Head Chef Alex greeted us and explained the first main dish, others of the chefs brought out and explained further course. Excellent food and service. Not a cheap Christmas lunch but better than hassle at home and overall excellent value for money.

Chris Alex Rosie and the team were amazing hosts, we had an amazing evening that I’d recommend to anyone (who likes food).

I’m a bit reluctant to write this review as the food is so fantastic, the ambiance and staff delightful, but the number of tables small. So, will I be able to get a reservation next time if loads of people go there? Seriously, we go to a fair amount of top-rated restaurants (Mich 1*, 3*) and this place still stands out. The taste and artistry of the dishes is exceptional.

If not the best, definitely the most memorable and magical. The food was utterly incredible; a journey through exquisite flavours. The setting was intimate and refined. All of the chefs presented the food, which was a really lovely touch. The twist at the end of the meal was a rare and unique treat.

My husband and I and another couple wanted to end our vacation with a high note so we decided to dine at The Tudor Pass. We have been to other Michelin star restaurants and had high expectations and The Tudor Pass exceeded our expectations and we can honestly say it was an experience we will never forget. From the moment we stepped into the restaurant we were greeted with warmth and sophistication. The Tudor Pass interior was elegant and impeccably designed. The staff at The Tudor Pass was professional, friendly, knowledgeable and attentive and ensured our needs were met throughout our meal service. The dishes that were presented to us throughout the evening were nothing short of culinary masterpieces. It does not do it justice to say each plate was an exquisite work of art. Chef Alex carefully curated and beautifully presented each plate. The flavors were bold and unexpected. I am a vegetarian and the plates that were designed around my preference were amazing. My husband (who is not a vegetarian) was blown away by the scallops -- he described them as cooked to perfection with a delicate caramelization that melted in his mouth. He’s had a lot of scallops in his life and was surprised that scallops could taste so much differently than he’s ever experienced before. The wine pairing was also excellent and it was amazing how each one complimented and elevated each dish. The desserts were extraordinary – indescribable -- you have to experience them firsthand. It is hard to truly describe our dining experience at The Tudor Pass but it was an extraordinary journey that transcends the boundaries of traditional dining. It was an adventure that awakened our senses and left us with a memory of a lifetime. We highly recommend this experience for anyone who is seeking an extraordinary gastronomic experience that goes way above and beyond any traditional dining.
