S Kara - you must have visited the wrong shop to rate it 0! You’re not the owner of the new chippy in Esher are you ?We have been going to this small family business for the past 15 years and have never had a bad experience. Caroline is one of the friendliest people on the parade - always chatty. The food here is excellent, sometimes a bit of a wait on Fridays but that is to be expected. Absolutely fantastic place, when ever I get a job near sandown races I’m straight over to the clay gate fish inn, I always have a portion of chips with 4 saveloys they are the BEST with so much flavour, and the best price, owners are lovely to, Regards
