Good in all ways except it is near a busy road. If you are used to a very quiet bedroom, you will suffer from traffic noise and spend a lot of your night awake.Nearby activities: Ashdown Forest is a lovely place to walk.
Comfortable stay. Close the double glazed windows to exclude almost all the traffic noise, which does go on all night due to heavy lorries from Newhaven. Good location, helpful staff.Decent breakfast available on time (07.30) in the adjacent Star Inn. Everything clean. Would recommend. You get what you pay for.⁰

Would have got five stars but shower tap broke in the morning and wouldn't turn off. My husband managed to turn it off in the end but it was a close call as we were on a strick time constraintAnd didn't have time to tell the guy on reception just had time to dump our key cards and run.
