MOMA Restaurant

Came here for dinner on a weekday. Service was friendly but a little slow. Food was a mixed bag. Fish dishes were nice but nothing special, tuna starter was good but aubergine poor. Excellent crème brûlée, tiramisu was too thin. A fun experience, but food could have been more consistent in quality.

Dylan's Ice Cream Haslemere

Popped in for a hot chocolate and a flat white, both delicious and served by friendly staff. The ice cream is yummy, we didn't indulge today, but plenty of others were!

The Prince of Wales

Stopped by and found this gem.
Although we had dinner booked at our destination I was looking on enviously from the other side of the bar.
Great staff great looking food excellent beer/wine and a roaring fire.

Heidi

Fab range of pastries / baked goods. Difficult to choose! Ended up with almond croissants and iced coffees which were perfect for a lazy Sunday morning.
Light, bright and extra fresh and clean interior.

The White Horse

We visit the White horse regularly usually just for drinks ,staff always friendly and helpful ,no complaints whatsoever.
Last Saturday it was a dog show in the car park,well attended and great atmosphere,lots of money made for Canine Partners. Staff done a brilliant job.

The Mill, Haslemere

Very enjoyable lunch for a table of four. Service was good and the food was excellent [although the soup was a bit gloopy - you could eat it with a fork, but tasted OK). A varied menu with daily specials and a fine selection of beers and wine (although wine is a bit pricy). We will return. Thanks.

The Swan Inn Haslemere

Very friendly service and the lunch menu was amazing for value for money, portions and quality. Cozy pub and retains all the best features of an old coaching inn

The Duke of Cumberland Arms

Delicious food with fantastic service to match. Visited The Duke of Cumberland with a group of friends last weekend. The food, atmosphere and service were all top notch. Special mention to Beth, our waitress, who was absolutely wonderful and so attentive throughout. Even persuaded us to go for dessert (although already rather full) which did not disappoint. We will definitely be returning!

We went for family dinner just as busy Christmas time. At Haslemere branch.
We received incredible service by Maisie and Clare.

Kebab Van Haslemere

I've been buying kebabs from this place for 13 years and it never disappoints. The portions are good, the meat (particularly chicken) is fresh and well seasoned, and the prices are reasonable. I'm so happy to have a decent takeaway van in the area. Accepting cash only is a minor downside.

Brasa Burger LTD

My sister and I just had the best Brazilian coxinha in our whole life(we are Brazilian!). My sister got the Brasa Burger which she says was DIVINE I had to try it and it was delicious! My Chicken burger was the best chicken burger I've ever had too. Really enjoyed their homemade mayo. We ordered more of their delicious food to take home(including the cheese balls and extra coxinha) since we enjoyed it so much! The lovely waitress was so kind and warm too! Loved the decor and ambience. Definitely coming back as soon as we can! Obrigada!!! x

The Lions Den Cafe

Came across this lovely restaurant while on a staycation with my wife and dog staying nearby. We were super impressed! It has really nice dog friendly outside seating and the female server working the outside window was very friendly. We got the halloumi burger and stilton burger and both were great, as were the chips. Definitely among the better vegan burgers we've had in the last six months. Overall this place had a very nice, friendly vibe, and great food, and we would definitely recommend it.

Oliver's Coffee

Visited Haslmere for the first time on Friday and saw Oliver's so popped in for brunch. Had the full English breakfast and it was the best, and biggest, full English I've had in a long time! Everthing was well cooked and piping hot! It was busy so there was a wait before the food arrived but we were warned about this before we ordered. It was well worth the wait!

Hemingways of Haslemere

Hands down my favourite place in Haselmere! Great meals (the kind you want to try and recreate at home, but never will be able to), over-the-top desserts, varied menu, lovely staff. Indoor and comfy outdoor seating, complete with treats for diners’ fur buddies. 10/10 will revisit when back in the area.

Ozzy's Cafe (Haslemere)

A wonderful café with a warm atmosphere and excellent service. I worked in the area for a week and went there for lunch (egg and cheese burger). Staff are friendly and attentive, and made the experience consistently enjoyable. If I’m ever in the area again I’ll definitely pop in! Highly recommended!

Sabai Thai Kitchen

Had a really lovely evening here with my girlfriend. The food was gorgeous, reasonably priced and they do great bubble tea! The servers were lovely too, I hope more people make the great decision of visiting!

Apple Tree Pub | Haslemere

Super friendly pub & lovely, warm atmosphere. The bar man even remembered our drinks. Reasonable priced & good selection of snacks. Highly recommend the Apple tree. Definitely going back soon.

Andy's Fish Bar

Had large cod and large chips a large sausage and a cod row
The cod was cooked fresh and was a large bit of cod very tasty the chips was nice again a large portion
The sausage was again nice but unfortunately the cod row was a let down the batter was not crispy the underneath was very oily
The price was very good for the portions I got
very friendly owner not going to let the cod row put me off from ordering again from here

Bakehouse Haslemere

Ordered an ocean-themed cake and vegan cupcakes for a baby shower, they were delicious and everyone raved about them! Will definitely order from The Bakehouse again!

The Tasty

My wife and I have ordered from here at least half a dozen times, and we’ve been happy every single time. The food is delicious, and we think the duck pancakes are particularly good. The sweet and sour pork and chicken balls are delicious and I’d consider a must-try.

I’ll be happily and confidently recommend The Tasty. Note that it’s cash only, and the closest ATM is just across the road at the esso petrol station.

Shahanaz Indian Cuisine

Been eating here for years and never have had a problem - the staff super friendly and welcoming and the food is always spectacular. It makes me sad to see such negative reviews when my family & I have never had issues with the place! Definitely at least worth a try, would highly recommend!!!

Great options but where they cook at 4am and only top up with fresh if they run put of something, its usually cold and half the time staff look tired and miserable

Food is really good. Emily who served is absolutely pretty and well served. No doubt she is an asset. They accept the taste card as well.

Costa Coffee

Costa coffee was standard but cheese toasts were good. Staff were awesome and service was excellent. Even though they were young girls and you can’t aspect that nice service from young ones these days. Atmosphere was calm and quiet. If you visiting this area then pop in for a coffee break.

Wok Star

Love it here so much. We're big fans of getting one of the set meals with Singapore Noodles and Crispy Chilli Beef to go with them.

It's very reasonably priced and if you ever see her out of the kitchen Fan is such a lovely person.

Updated review - went back again in Jan 2026 having not been for a few years - lovely breakfast and very nice inside. The special offers for breakfast for 2 or lunches are good value. Very nice environment with a fire on and lovely interior in great location

Really nice little cafe . Had a bacon and Brie croissant . Truly excellent with plenty of filling at a good price . My partner had a tuna melt which was also good value. The cakes were fresh and tasty.Staff were also friendly . An overall excellent experience.
