The recent refurb has made the second room much nicer and a great place to watch sport. There are loads of outdoor seats at the front and a covered area with a TV out the back. A good selection of drinks with a focus on the owners local brewery Big Smoke.Kid-friendliness: Kids are welcome and there is many a parent having dinner with their child at 5-6pm.

The George became our local 1.5 years ago when we moved round the corner. This is the perfect place to unwind after a hard days work or chill out at the weekend. We lovel the cosy feel of this recently rennovated pub which still keeps a traditional vibe. Recently we held our engagement drinks here and the manager Steve went above and beyond to ensure we had the perfect evening. Would highly recommend to anyone!
