What a fantastic old Manor house, firstly the staff was very attentive, helpfull and friendly. Secondly hotel and especially the room we booked was very very nice and relaxing, the hotel seating areas had log fires burning totally a chill out two days for our anniversary. Lastly the food, wow..the afternoon tea with bubbles on the first day fantastic took 2 hours to finish so good and very large , light meal that night...second night three course dinner in the restaurant...read full review

Absolutely beautiful, visited for a 50th wedding anniversary tea party. The staff were very accomadating with my allergy. Cakes are lovely, especially the Scones with clotted cream. Afternoon tea is normally around £40, and I would visit again.Walkability: It is slightly hard to find if you leave the car at home, but the walk is extremely pleasant.
