The Ferry
Portsmouth Rd, Thames DittonI popped in for a beer and found an authentic Nepalese restaurant with an authentic Gurkha veteran running the pub with his nephew. Great food, great atmosphere and great service that ensures patrons are happy. Highly recommended.

Albany Thames Ditton
Queens Rd, Thames DittonI had a lovely time at this wonderful pub near Hampton Court. Delightful setting, lovely warm atmosphere made by the staff who were professional but also very friendly. Had an exceptional time here; of particular note was Harry who served us and Len, the manager who seemed to make an extra effort with all the customers and were very diligent - they made coming to this pub a joy. Will be coming again.

The Rose
35 High St, Thames DittonHad an excellent meal. As good as, if not better than any Indian / Nepalese / Bangladeshi restaurant we've visited.
Staff were very welcoming. Milan, our waiter was a top bloke - happily explained all the dishes to us & appeared very proud of the restaurants' food.
Although it was about a 35 mile drive for us, we'll definitely return as often as possible.

Delicious Dosa
2 Summer Rd, Thames DittonFound myself in the Thames Ditton area, in the later evening, as my local Claygate supermarket had shut earlier than usual, and I ended up in another supermarket, in this village. Had never had a takeaway from here before, so I decided to give it a go. Owner/Chef seemed a really pleasant, friendly chap, and the menu had genuine Sri Lankan and Southern Indian dishes, so I was excited to see that. Ordered a Dosai, Tikka Paneer Shaslick and a King Prawn Jalfrezi. I can confirm the food is freshly made to order, in situ, and not cooked in advance, a few hours before - it took time, but I wasn’t in any rush, so that did not bother me, and I like the slower, fresh, made to order, style. The Jalfrezi was fantastic, and the Paneer Shaslick good. Overall I really enjoyed it.
