This pub was a very pleasant find after a long cold walk nearby. We eat out alot in pubs and restaurants due to work and socialising and I have to say that the service and quality of food in this pub was exceptional and great value for money. Easily the best pub I have visited in 2023.
FOOD IS GOOD! Just popped in for late lunch after business meeting overran. Amazed - 2x Fish & Chips and 2x Fillet Steaks - good quality food, FRESH & TASTY! Staff were lovely - friendly & obliging (especially considering we arrived shortly before they were due to stop serving lunch ..at 3pm midweek). SO THANK YOU DOG & DUCK! We'll be back :o)
