Can’t understand what the negative reviews are all about - no doubt review bombing from other local pubs. Landlady is absolute stellar, as well as the great and friendly clientele. Will definitely come back again and again. Great atmosphere and loads of events. It is a local pub, but was made to feel completely welcome. Been to a few of the other local pubs in the area, Joshua Tree and The Marquis of Granby which are lack lustre at best.
Three of us went for drinks in the garden and the sat under a lovely wooden sheltered area. The staff were so attentive and the drinks were very good. My two dogs were allowed in the garden and the staff made such a fuss over them. What a lovely pub and atmosphere. Thanks for a great afternoon.

I’ve been in the pub a few times and I noticed it had changed hands. This is definitely for the best! The landlord is friendly and accommodating and took time to chat. My elderly father was visiting from the states and the landlord saved us an area so we could visit for his birthday, came over and had a chat with us and the car staff were super friendly and welcoming.Thank you, we will definitely be back!
