“We planned a surprise birthday for my amazing mother in law, she lives local to the area, but we do not, so we embraced the help and support from Julie (landlady) to help plan and also invite local friends to join us, Julie went above and beyond, supporting our idea, and some how keeping in a secret from my detective mother in law, the service was 5* and the buffet that Julie had free rein on was simply amazing, I don’t think there was any left! And many of us still talk about it now. And a small thank you to the barmaid V, how made the best baby guiness! Sadly I took very few photos, but I will try to source some. Due to family all travelling from different locations we were also able to reserve rooms, and the feed back I have received was they all sleep so comfortably, and the breakfast was just perfect and well needed! Thank you once again Julie and Team. You all did yourself proud.”

“I’m super fussy with food, I’ve eaten at every cafe within 15 miles of home and I can say without question marbles way cafe is my favourite. The food is always perfectly cooked the value for money is excellent food quality is really good, not cheap like most cafes. the staff are always friendly. I don’t do reviews but had to put one for the best cafe in Surrey”

“Lovely friendly pub/restaurant with friendly, helpful polite staff. Enjoy the great food with a large selection and very reasonably priced. Have had Brunch, Lunch and Dinner, never been disappointed. Lots of events going on with great atmosphere, especially quiz nights. Great place for kids, smashing menu and plenty for kids to do. Would thoroughly recommend The Blue Ball for a great time whether its brunch, lunch dinner or just a drink”

“Had the function room for a 90th celebration. Food was tasty, slight delay on one dish but nothing too serious. Parking good and overall reasonably priced. A bit off the beaten track and near to some lovely walks so worth a visit for an afternoon.
Dog friendly which was a big plus for us.”
