“We were greeted as soon as we walked through the door and the staff were more than happy to help. The food was outstanding, will definitely be returning. A special thank you to Jess who served us throughout the night and provided a happy face and great service.”

“This is a great pub. It’s a throwback to when pubs were places to get a decent pint and a bag of crisps and a chin wag with the guvnor. A lovely place at the end of a track. Most people call the pub The Rat. It’s a locals place but still pretty welcoming. Decent Breakspeares and Surrey Hills beer. No kids allowed. No food apart from the basics. No wifi. But masses of character. I always try to drop in whenever I am in the area.”

“Great location just off Walton Heath and a short diversion from North Downs Way. I lived near here for years but rarely visited as it got a bit cliquey back then. However it seemed fine on this occasion. The garden could have been tidier but food and drinks were great.”
