Me and my friend dined here and it was absolutely fantastic from the minute we got there, lovely waiter, starters arrived in a timely manner. I highly recommend the lamb hummus starter it was incredible and so soft. We shared the Mixed Grill, this thing was HUGE. I honestly can't fault a thing everything was cooked so perfectly, not a dry piece of meat in sight. These guys know how to cook!!! Great restaurant. Great food. Great atmosphere. We visited here for a quick lunch and were not disappointed. As vegetarians we were both very pleased that they had a great selection even on their lunch special menu which was tremendous value and the portions were very generous. We had a humous and halloumi starter with some amazing Turkish bread (worth coming here for the bread alone), followed by vegetarian mousakka and baklava for desert. Fantastic Sunday lunch at Ilbays. 2 courses for £11.95 is great value.The hummus was so flavoursome and was great with Turkish bread and the tasty sucuk. The slow cooked lamb came out piping hot with tasty mash, Yorkie pud and veggies. The Beyti Sarma was beautiful and herby with a fresh addition of yoghurt.Would definitely visit again and would also consider getting food delivered.
