Popped in without booking Weds early evening, friendly welcome, relaxed atmosphere and enjoyed a couple of Madri's. We picked up a menu and ordered scampi and chips and the intriguing Chicken Bao Buns with salt and pepper fries. I have to say The Beehive triple fried chips are "bangin" you won't find better. We were invited to this pub to celebrate an upcoming birthday. We had heard good things about it and we were not disappointed. The service was great, as was the food. Pleased we didn't get a starter as the mains were huge. We waited a little while for our food, not too long but they were extremely busy so it was acceptable.
