Asda in Gosforth is not too big for me, they sell a variety of brands and Asda own products, unfortunately the shelves are not stocked and they are regularly empty. The music is far too loud but this is a problem in all stores as I am hard of hearing.

I'm a regular customer here and find the staff pleasant and helpful. You can buy just about anything in store and they have a pharmacy a Timpsons and a photo printing and frames seller. Only one criticism , the new layout . There are barriers everywhere . For example if you wanted to get a newspaper or a snack and forgot to put it in your trolley before you go through the barrier then you cant. Its made the shop feel hemmed in and restrictive which is off putting

I have been a regular shopper and I am very satisfied until recently. In recent weeks, one young blonde male staff starts to procrastinate whenever he is on duty. He spends the whole day walking around, does nothing or very little, but acts like he is tidying up the shelves or doing some yellow labels. It makes the whole shopping experience very irritable. All the other staffs are very helpful and diligent and I have never experienced the same problem when anyone else is on duty....read full review
