I went at a busy time of year so maybe it could rate higher on a different occasion.They placed us in a little corner at the back of the restaurant. Felt like we were a little forgotten about.I asked for a little while after the starter before having the main course. Unfortunately this didn’t happen and it was served very soon after.Food was tasty and good size portions. When in the North East this is my go to Indian restaurant. The quality of the food is outstanding, from the quality of the meat to the best prawns, my favourite garlic and amazing nanns. This is how Indian food should be! Nothing comes close.

We indulged ourselves with a tandoori mixed grill. Chicken tikka masala, mushroom pilau, garlic naan, poppadoms with lime pickle all very nice and flavoursome. I collected from the restaurant and enjoyed the ambience, my order was ready on time and the staff were friendly.
