Finally dog friendly! Can now sit inside and have a drink and a snack on the dog walk without having to brave the weather outside. Free puppachinos for the four-legged members of the group too. Service, as always, is very friendly.
Was pleasantly surprised that I was able to get a table at Saturday lunchtime without a wait, which is usually very busy. I had the daily pie and mash, which was a very tasty steak pie and my wife enjoyed her scampi, commenting that it was the "fishiest" scampi she had ever had. Enjoyable experience with outstanding views over the marina.

Kept meaning to try this pub on a sunny day in summer to admire the view but never got around to it so went on a cold day in December instead. Decor inside is nice and the staff were very friendly and efficient. The fish and chips were very tasty. We'll definitely go back again. I imagine it would be lovely to sit outside on a warm day/night but a nice pub anytime.
