Have been going to Fishnets for years cause I think it serves the best fish and chips. Today I was disappointed. Fish greasy and small but I didn't know there was a choice of 3 sizes until I heard someone behind me. Chips not the best either. ?
I visit here fairly regularly even though it's in the neighbouring village as the local chippy is no where near the quality of this place. The food is always freshly cooked and flavourful. Sometimes there can be quite a wait at busy periods but they do try and take your order as soon as possible to keep that time down. The staff are great too. Whats not to like, fish always fresh, batter crunchy, chips brilliant, I have been going here weekly for years. As every thing is cooked fresh you need to shout in your order as you go through the door before joining the queue.
