Moved into this area last year. This restaurant was recommended and I have to say, taken family and visitors there every time since. Never lets you down. Food is bloody lovely and not too expensive either.

When my hotel told me that there was a man vs. food restaurant nearby. I was really excited. I drove round to find it and drove past three times. It's an absolute dump from outside and looks closed. That didn't matter. I found the entrance and was quite pleased with the decor, and the desserts looked great in the display cabinet. I was given a table and there were quite a few people in so I was looking forward to it. The host was pleasant, but the waitress had zero service skills and went through the motions, taking my order. I was surprised to see no mention of any food challenges. Surely that's the brand usp? This is where things took a turn. The food is grim! I ordered a burger. The chips were soggy, and the burger was too. It was literally a kebab shop burger on a metal plate. I wasn't offered sauces and had to go and get them. No mustard or bbq sauce *a BBQ Restaurant, this is not! She even said she would bring me some mustard and then didn't bother. Thankfully, I can claim on my expenses, or I would have been asking for my money back. This restaurant is mutton dressed as lamb. Its a kebab shop in disguise .

We come here every here every now and again from Middlesbrough after our local restaurant closed a few years ago. We were a bit disappointed that the beef rib wasn’t available (we have been three times this year and all three times it’s not been available) however they swapped it out with pulled beef which was absolutely delicious so the disappointment was soon gone. All our food was delicious as always and the service was spot on. I would like to take a moment to compliment Ellie our waitress she was absolutely brilliant, especially to our daughter who took to her immediately. 24 hours later and my daughter is pretending to be a waitress and serving me, Ellie definitely left a lasting impression on her. See you again soon.

Absolute joke Got a kids cheese burger premium meal and asked for the burger to be cooked well done NO pink. What comes, but pink inside the burger so the person eating this ate only half as the rest was pink. Ordered mash with this meal and later noticed we were charged a £1 extra for this even though it was a side on the premium kids meal. Also noticed on bill that we were also charged for the bbq ketchup we asked for. Lol it was the size of a egg cup. Complained about the burger and they didn't even care. Service was pathetic as nothing was done about our complaint and you could just tell they weren't even bothered.
