Found this gem of a place a few years ago and if I’m in Sunderland city centre this is where I go for food. Firstly the staff are so friendly and nice. The food is home cooked and so good yum. I took my mother and she had the quiche I opted for mince pie which was large portion and came with a drink. My mother wanted the smaller plate with her quiche. We called into wrndy,s for lunch while shopping. Both selected pie chips mushy peas and teas. Staff very friendly and place clean and very nice. I selected large and wife selected small. Meal was good with home made chips. Only down side was it was a bit pricey for the size of the dinners but very welcome on a cold and wet day

I visited Wendy’s Place today and had a very nice lunch, what I like about this place Is the lovely staff and great atmosphere. On top of that the food was very tasty and the prices were reasonable. I would highly recommend a visit to Wendy’s Place you will not be disappointed.
