“Have visited this lovely bar/restaurant on a few occasions lately and every meal has been great. We have tried the gammon, steak pie, curry, and lamb. Steak pie is the best I’ve ever had. Real homemade chips too which is always a bonus.”

“I am visiting local pubs to rate the Guinness, first up The Plough in Aberaman.It gets served a lot here which is a positive start, the glass was clean and the bar lady took her time with pulling the pint.So far so good.After it settled the head was thick and creamy, it survived the tilt test which is important to me and when finished the rings of froth on the inside of the glass were defined nicely.As good as it comes locally I'm guessing. By the way it tasted very nice.4.5 out of 5.”

“We popped into this pub when exploring Aberdare and were given a warm welcome by the barmaid and regular patron. We ordered drinks and chatted about the area and they advised of places to go that we might enjoy. We decided to eat here and the food was excellent, big portions and well cooked and incredible value for money. Great service, everything a pub should be.”
