I am visiting local pubs to rate the Guinness, first up The Plough in Aberaman.It gets served a lot here which is a positive start, the glass was clean and the bar lady took her time with pulling the pint.So far so good.After it settled the head was thick and creamy, it survived the tilt test which is important to me and when finished the rings of froth on the inside of the glass were defined nicely.As good as it comes locally I'm guessing. Was a really nice place to drink before lockdown but has been recently refurbished to look alot more upmarket, landlady and staff are always friendly and service is always quick and done with a smile. Drinks are always cold and full of life. Hopefully the carvery will reopen soon as their food was delicious. Overall, if you want a quiet drink, game of pool and a smile behind the bar i highly recommend the plough inn

Awesome couple Stefanie and David brilliant hosts couldn't have been more accommodating may benefit from some more outside lighting but overall awesome pub lovely place very friendly people.
