The restaurant offered a blend of good food and service. Unfortunately, bread and butter served here should not be served in a high standard restaurant. Despite that, my partner and I enjoyed superb starters. The main course showcased perfectly cooked fish and filet, although my fish was overly salty. What a top class restaurant!(We didn't stay at the hotel so this review pertains only to the restaurant).We had a delicious 5-star meal at The Walnut Tree. Presentation and taste couldn't have been better along with staff that were delightful. The friendly and professional atmosphere that the team provided lifted the experience even further.

A lovely birthday meal for my wife. Well worth the hours drive from Herefordshire for this fine dining haven!The cheese Soufflé starter and the beef dishes were amazing!Only slight disappointment was I had emailed and rang ahead of our booking to ask for a special birthday treat - said not a problem but it failed to materialise. We’ll be back though the experience and restaurant staff were superb!
