“We went to the yacht today for a carvery. The food was absolutely amazing, well cooked and the choice of meat was excellent. There were 2 size plates large or small, to be honest the small was enough. My granddaughter was with us today and the way staff looked after her was just lovely. She’s a fussy eater and the manager made sure her plate had enough food on to fill her up. The prices are cheap for what you get and you will leave with a full stomach. We will definitely go back. We can’t thank the staff enough for their excellent service.”

“Always a warm and friendly welcome upon arriving. Staff are very pleasant and accommodating. Cheese and red onion panini with chips was delicious as was the decaf cappuccino.
Returned this morning for brunch and asked if it would be possible to have a vegetarian large breakfast and the owner/chef was more than happy to do this for me. When it arrived there was plenty on the plate, fresh tomatoes and mushrooms, hash browns and beans and brown toast with real butter. Delicious and filling and a clean plate.
Lovely selection of cakes so I bought some to take home with me.

“HUGE HUGE thank you to the ladies who come to our rescue today and help my hubby when he was having a diabetic hypo. I was on my own with the boys and hubby was outside. I can’t thank the girls enough who were rapid at getting us what we needed to get him back up n running. Our meals were GORGEOUS and we really appreciate you xx”

“Sandy bay has been taken over by the Knightley group and as ever with this organisation. It is well managed and staff are hard working and dedicated. The pub itself was in need of love, and some money has been straight to bring back to an acceptable standard.
The market caters to young families and has entertainment every weekend. The food served was fine for a snack. I commend the improvement and worth a visit, much better than before. To be 5 stars need to further update and modernise”
