Lovely, tidy pub with great food. I had the Welsh rump steak, asked for medium and cooked perfectly, the chips and onion rings were also very good.I didn't feel particularly welcomed by the staff who seemed quite pre occupied, the person who greeted me was oddly stern.I drank a pint of pedigree which was as expected and good. It was a shame there were no local brews available, I assume this is a brewery/brand issue.My total was £21.95 which I think was great value for money....read full review
Great food with welcoming staff. Food was served in good time even though they were busy. Food was fresh and good sized portions. The bar serves a good selection of beers, wines and spirits. Good price for food and drink. Dog friendly inside and even served the dog some treats when we sat down.
Called in here for some lunch while in the area as was dog friendly and wasn't disappointed old style traditional pub with traditional pub food. Great pub and good service couldn't fault it and was getting very busy. Food was good quality and reasonable prices. Will definitely be going back even if jst for couple of drinks. My new go to pub while in the area. Only down side no parking however slightly past it heading towards Ross on sea direction is a free car park. (Library car...read full review
