Fantastic food! Fantastic atmosphere! (and the menu had loads of items.) I was a little dishearted by the owner and his chef getting annoyed at each other. It was apparent they were arguing about some orders that came in all at once, but who doesn't have a rough patch every once and a while whilst at work. I don't understand why this hasn't got a full 5 star rating because it should. If you are looking for a chip shop with sit down facility's this is the one to go to. The food is outstanding and value for money which is had to find these days. The customer service is outstanding very polite and professional. Parking is very close as well. You can't go wrong visiting the guys at Templetons.

Friday afternoon and we had a craving for traditional fish and chips. Walked the length of the High Street past fancy studenty cafes - most of which were shut - and found Templetons right at the end of the street as we were giving up all hope. What a find! Big, golden, lightly battered fish, excellent chips and mushy peas with bread and butter and a mug of tea £11. Nice, welcoming staff who gave us a great overview of the town.
