The staff were friendly, helpful and attentive. Breakfast was made with good quality ingredients, not greasy and well presented, (although the bacon was hard and chewy). The bed was good quality and comfortable, supportive but not hard, the room was clean. The room was a different matter. Initial impressions of trying to look traditional was spoilt by the modern white painted wardrobe, as no attempt had been made to blend it in with the rest of the room. We’ve recently spent a weekend in Beaumaris and ate in The Bull each night. There’s a snug little bar with a lovely open fire. Wish we could’ve found a table in there but it was too busy and we were thirsty for a pint. You can eat at the tables in the front bar if you can grab a table. Both nights we sat and ate in the restaurant at the back of the building. The restaurant looks like it’s recently been built or has had a big makeover . We had a booking for 6 adults and a baby, from the minute we stepped into the restaurant the staff went above and beyond to make our Christmas Day perfect. Food was delicious and very well organised with no issues at all. Staff friendly, funny and very helpful. Especially Jackie & Paul. Big thank you and we can’t wait to return.
