I came to this pub a couple of weeks ago as I was in the village for my birthday after going to zip world up the road. Saw on the reviews it is a dog friendly pub, so we brought our dog along. We came late in the evening so we’re unable to order food, the bar staff were very welcoming and allowed us to order a takeaway. All the locals were also very welcoming and friendly. All the pics of food should be deleted as this pub does not do food! However, as stated by others they do welcome you to get a take away and bring it in - there are a Chinese and a chippy very close. Pub is very traditional working peoples drinking pub but we found everyone very friendly, despite us being very obviously not from that demographic!
