1-2, High St, Blaenau FfestiniogWe had lunch here on a cold, rainy day and were very glad of pasties and a hot drink. The woman serving saw that one of us had hurt their ankle and she gave us some ice to help with the swelling. Altogether it was a pleasant experience and the woman serving was a star!

36 High St, Blaenau FfestiniogCame for a lunch with my family after a visit to Zip World - plenty to choose from - soup to breakfasts to toasties and baguettes. Food was tasty and service was fast and friendly. Lady even gave us a walking tour map of the area for the kids which I loved. Recommended

Sgwar yr Eglwys., Llan FfestiniogLovely hotel in a great location. We enjoyed our short stay and met the friendly family who are managing the hotel. Mr Gwynfor was very kind. My family and I really appreciated his help when our car broke down. He made sure we were safe and got us some refreshments while waiting for the rescue patrol. The dinner was delicious, the room was warm and cosy. We will stay here again on the next visit.

Power Station, A496, Blaenau FfestiniogOut of 4 of us 3 are vegetarian and the options were great. The portion size was just right after a great walk. We were able to bring our dog in and was even able to order her a sausage. Good value for money for non fussy great food.Vegetarian options: There was plenty of veggie options and all were very good.

The blend of spices and the use of fresh ingredients and spices is well worth experiencing, the kitchen is producing healthy food, with care. If like me you eat curry on a regular basis, you will not be disappointed, indeed you will be pleasantly surprised by the chef’s originality, unspoilt, natural and very wholesome.The take out is nicely packaged with tin foil cartons. 18 Church St, Blaenau FfestiniogReally great Chinese. Good quality food, not overpriced, with realistic collection times. The salt and pepper box is particularly good value and easily enough food for two or more. It's everything you would want in a rural Chinese - and really tasty. Always very happy with food here, can see why it's a local favourite - had friends as far as Harlech mention jealously how good it is when they know I'm getting some. The staff are really lovely as well, and the waiting room is absolutely fantastic. It's like something out of a movie, wood panelling floor to ceiling and a selection of seats while you wait for your food

28 High St, Blaenau FfestiniogTasty Takeaway Chinese Food we found online that was open on a Monday We arrived ordered our takeaway meal choices and waited after paying cash as this Chinese takeaway does not accept cards. Before not very long waiting our order arrived and we returned to our room in our Hotel 2 miles away to eat it. We found our meals to be very well cooked hot and very tasty. So no complaints from us about the The Taste Gardens we found. So if you are in this area give then a try as they are open 7 days a week unlike many others who close on a Monday?
