Cafe • “Excellent cafe in a lovely location. We parked in the long stay car park so it was a bit if a walk on a hot day but well worth the effort. Cafes in Brecon looked busy and few had tables outside. We were given a table in the shade just across the green from the cathedral. Cool beers and a lovely quiche, new potatoes and salad - just what we needed. We were driving from St Davids to Oxford via the A40 so as to avoid delays on the M4 and will do the same route next time - but use the car park next to the cathedral!”

Cafe • “I was at a campsite just outside of brecon on my motorcycle and called here for breakfast.The eggs were poached lovely.thick bacon cooked perfect.two thick tasty sausages.half a tomato beans and toast.cup of tea.Sensible prices.I would highly reccomend this cafe and will definitely return.”

Mexican oval bite was delicious and better than what you get in England but the reason for the 1 star loss is for me personally the custard slices are not very good. Icing very bitty and not a lot of vanilla flavour from the custard and they seem to be smaller thinner than a mobile phone!”

Cafe • “Coffee #1 are the best chain coffee houses in my view.The coffee blend is smooth and easy to drink.In this branch, the only problem is one toilet and the door isn't self closing, so it can be a bit pongy.”

“Wow! Excellent stop on our way from Pembrokeshire to Bristol. Friendly, warm vibe. Toasty wood burner and Gluten free/ Coeliacs properly catered for. Looked a little grim from the outside, absolutely gorgeous inside. Recommended ?”
