Fantastic pub, great atmosphere and it was packed, clearly very community and customer focussed, welcomed us and our dog very warmly, great service, very friendly staff and customers, great singer, lovely food (laid on free by the pub for Mothers Day), we had a great welcome when all the other pubs for miles weren't serving food or other pubs didn't welcome dogs because it was Mother's Day. Thoroughly recommended. Thank you Sam and the team, keep up the great work ?
Can't rate it highly enough. It's a very welcoming pub. It's warm and they serve delicious food. We go there every week and we hope that it will continue for a long time.

After being closed for a few months for refurbishment, my wife and I we very pleasantly satisfied with our experience. We were treated to the best Sunday Roast Dinner we have ever experienced in any pub/restaurant. It was almost as if it had been cooked at home. The service by the staff was excellent. Overall there was nothing to fault and I would highly recommend people to visit.
