“We have visited this pub a few times recently for a beer but this was our first time having a meal.We ordered the nachos for starters which were lovely.For the main course we had a homemade flatbread which was stuffed with a delicious combination of sundried tomatoes,goats cheese pesto and salad leaves.This was served with lovely fluffy fries.The portions are huge,very good value for money.This is a lovely pub.Friendly staff,excellent service.Great atmosphere.I can see why its so popular,its definately favourite of ours when we visit the historic town of Caerleon.Vegetarian options: Enough vegetarian options available.The food is wonderful and very creatively thought out.Not your usual pub grub which can be a bit basic and bland.”
