We have visited this pub a few times recently for a beer but this was our first time having a meal.We ordered the nachos for starters which were lovely.For the main course we had a homemade flatbread which was stuffed with a delicious combination of sundried tomatoes,goats cheese pesto and salad leaves.This was served with lovely fluffy fries.The portions are huge,very good value for money.This is a lovely pub.Friendly staff,excellent service.Great atmosphere.I can see why its...read full review
The staff were friendly and the service was good.We had dessert and coffee, so can't comment on starters and mains.1. Apparently they didn't have any cold milk to make tea!?2. The apple pie we ordered didn't look great, but fortunately tasted very nice.3. I ordered it with ice-cream and it was served with three scoops of strawberry ice-cream on the side, which I thought was a little unusual, but tasted good nonetheless. 4. Visited midweek with my 2 children. Venue clean and plenty of available seating. Good, friendly service. Didn't have a long wait for food. Ordered dirty fries, burger and chicken burger. All meals were piping hot, fresh and delicious. Would highly recommend.
