Never been before but no worries ? great service happy atmosphere staff very helpful , food excellent .We had Sunday Roast choice of 3 meats ? ànd roast potatoes + boiled or cheesy mash. Completed with fresh vegetables and gravy . If you get through that there is a desert ? menu to finish .
Just (3 days ago) reopened under new ownership. We went to celebrate a friend’s birthday and had a fablas visit. Good value and range of beers etc, and they gave us a mahoosive, free board of cheese and meats with trimmings. Super friendly and welcoming. From the station (Hengoed) it’s a five minute walk across a viaduct with magnificent views. Win-win all round.

Amazing food, well presented, staff were friendly and very helpful, best Sunday lunch I've ever had, the food was fresh and very tasty, great atmosphere, most of the customer seemed to know each other, I will definitely be returning, the Christmas Day menu is very traditional.
