Called in as we were in the area. Ordered fish bites, 2 jumbo sausages and a large chips, thinking the chips would be enough for three adults, but nope. It was a shocking portion of chips, compared to most other chip shops, and for the price (£4.50). The staff in the shop were nice and there was nothing wrong with the food itself, but you're better off ordering a portion of chips per person.
We had chips here a few times tonight's are the worst chips they are hard as in over cooked or re dipped and didn't taste anywhere near fresh my sausage in batter was nice but my wife rissole was OK. There is a very loud noise from the generator so trying to have a chat is impossible.

I've worked there as Frayer before and I must say something went wrong Spiro. Your standard in comparison to top gun is downhill, dunno who is on Frayer but dude , fish is done when it floats, let it drip and check for white spots, don't over flour it , just tap it slightly shake of dip in batter let it drip of and as you put it in oil going be it a stir holding via tail part. Or next time I'll fry it myself. Kinda disappointed ☹️. Damian.
