Beautiful location, impeccable staff and service from the moment we entered. Meeting David and Rory definitely enriched our visit - sharing their deep knowledge into the history of the house and learning all about their family was a highlight . The food was truly outstanding, complemented by flawless service. Couldn't find a single fault; the entire experience was exceptionally memorable. Thank you!

We’ve been coming to Mansion House for family celebration meals for many years, and the food and service are always top notch. Yesterday they hosted us for lunch for my son’s thirteenth birthday. The food, service and value for money were all excellent. Thank you all for helping make a memorable birthday.

Lovely location, but the price (£225 a night) paid for the service received is an absolute joke. Was really looking forward to a bit of luxury, but this place is so badly managed it’s appalling. When checking out staff only interested in payment, didn’t bother to ask if everything ok? Please don’t waste your hard-earned money on this place.Rooms: When shown to room, staff realised it hadn’t been cleaned, so we were sent away for about half an hour. Gave us a bottle of wine as apology, nice gesture, but poor service continued. There’s a safe in the room, but you can’t open the door, unless you pick it up. I’m guessing if you can pick it up it’s not really a safe!Bathroom so dim, impossible to have a shave.Got back in the evening, tea cups hadn’t been cleaned, just turned upside down, tea bags not replaced. Bed hadn’t been made, just duvet tucked in, bizarre!Food & drinks: Breakfast only available between 9 and 10, ridiculous, sorry to inconvenience you!Day 1: floor had crumbs and old serviettes. Tables hadn’t been properly set up. Brought tea, no cups on the table. Brought dirty cups! Breakfast: poached eggs overcooked. No condiments on table. Toast brought 5 minutes after breakfast.Day 2: dirty cups again! Fruit with yoghurt and granola: strawberries still had stalks on. Asked for soft boiled eggs, served totally overdone, like rubber. Started clearing table without asking if we’d finished, which we hadn’t!

Have had a meal in the restaurant in earlier visits, this was not a disappointment. We had drinks outside on the patio while we browsed the menu. The patio has fine views overlooking the Towy Estuary and across to Ferryside and beyond. To be clear I did not stay in the hotel, but this Google review asks for room reviews, it would be unfair to give it less than 5*.Nearby activities: Llansteffan beach is about 10 mins drive down the road.

Amazing location overlooking the bay good service although the food wasn't the best the lamb on the Sunday roast looked more like reconstituted meat rather than a sliced joint

This was our second visit to the restaurant and I can honestly say this is the best place to eat in this area. We live locally and will be back often. Definitely the nicest food I’ve had in years. This is more than a 5 star place.

Welcome: Nobody around, no help with the suitcase nor the car. One girl behind the bar who didn’t expect any guests. Food: As lousy as can be. Each Pubfood is prepared and served with more taste and attention then in this highly recommended Mansion. No professionalism whatsoever.Food & drinks: Each Pubfood is better and tastier than here.

It was a long journey but well worth it. Room was small but perfect. The food in the restaurant was wonderful - all three courses were excellent. This small hotel/restaurant is a gem. Staff were great. Thank you for your hospitality and I hope to return

Very nice place for our Sunday lunch. Wife has some intolerance to certain foods, so limited to the fish main. It would have been better if a gravy without onion garlic and mushroom could have been made. Starter was ok, just left off items that had the food in that she was intolerant too.Value for money, 3 courses for £26 was very good.

Amazing place! Celebrated my mother in law 70 birthday here. Can honestly say one of the best 3 course meals I have ever had. Would definitely recommend and be returning
