Great Sunday lunch. Plenty of vegetables and tasty gravy. We had the roast beef which was cut thickly and the chicken breast. Just like home cooked. Service was very good too. Recommend.
With the nights drawing in and a chill in the air, the lovely outside marquee overlooking the river is only for the hardy. We hadn't been inside for years but thought it was time to give it a go. Our worse fears were that it would be half empty and cold. It was quite the reverse - warm and buzzing with customers.
